Bannds is a music-centered community, social media platform, audiovisual sharing platform, marketplace, and monetization platform designed to support artists, fans, venues, sellers, promoters, and other approved participants.
To maintain user safety, legal compliance, copyright compliance, payment integrity, advertiser confidence, app marketplace compliance, and a productive user experience, all users must comply with these Community Standards & Acceptable Use Policy (“Community Standards”).
These Community Standards form part of the Bannds Terms of Service.
Bannds reserves the right to investigate, mute, suppress, restrict, demonetize, remove, shadow-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts, content, communications, listings, livestreams, videos, or monetization privileges that violate these standards.

- Respectful Conduct and User Safety
Users may not use Bannds to engage in:
- harassment
- threats
- stalking
- bullying
- targeted abuse
- hateful conduct
- discriminatory slurs
- doxxing
- intimidation
- repeated unwanted sexual communications
- extortion or coercion
Users may not use comments, direct messages, posts, stories, livestream chats, listings, artist pages, or any communication channel to create an unsafe or hostile environment for others.
Bannds may restrict messaging privileges, remove communications, suppress visibility, or terminate accounts involved in abusive behavior.

- Defamation, False Claims, and Impersonation
Users may not:
- knowingly post false accusations about individuals, artists, venues, labels, promoters, or businesses
- impersonate another person, artist, band, company, venue, label, promoter, or rights holder
- create misleading fan pages or fake representative accounts
- falsely claim endorsements, partnerships, or business relationships
Bannds may remove such content, suppress distribution, or terminate accounts without notice.

- Copyright, Ownership, Unauthorized Content, and Audiovisual Infringement
Users may not upload, list, stream, sell, distribute, display, or monetize:
- content they do not own or control
- infringing cover recordings without required rights
- unauthorized samples or third-party instrumentals
- stolen masters
- copyrighted images or artwork without permission
- counterfeit merchandise
- unauthorized ticket inventory
- videos containing copyrighted commercial music
- fan-shot concert clips lacking rights clearance
- television or film clips
- radio audio or broadcast audio
- unauthorized promotional media
- stories, reels, or livestreams containing third-party protected audiovisual material
- background copyrighted music lacking rights clearance
Repeated ownership disputes, unsupported ownership assertions, audiovisual copyright detections, or rights verification failures may result in muting, demonetization, suppression, or permanent account termination.

- Fraud, Payment Abuse, and Marketplace Manipulation
Users may not engage in:
- self-tipping
- fake purchases
- coordinated refund abuse
- stolen payment method usage
- chargeback abuse
- fake shoutout orders
- fake fan accounts
- marketplace listing scams
- false shipment claims
- event ticket scams
- coordinated payout manipulation
- creator payout farming
- artificial reward harvesting
Bannds may reverse earnings, freeze balances, remove listings, suppress visibility, suspend monetization, or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent activity.
Bannds may cooperate with payment processors and legal authorities regarding such conduct.

- Adult Content, Sexual Exploitation, and Nudity Restrictions
Bannds is not an adult-content platform.
Users may not upload, stream, sell, distribute, display, or promote:
- pornography
- explicit nudity
- sexual exploitation material
- coercive sexual content
- sexual services solicitation
- fetish marketplace listings
- sexually explicit livestreams
Artistic material containing limited mature themes may be reviewed at Bannds’ discretion, but Bannds reserves broad authority to mute, suppress, remove, or restrict sexually explicit or app-store-noncompliant material.

- Minors and Age-Restricted Safety
Bannds is intended only for users eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Users may not:
- create accounts for minors
- knowingly solicit minors
- use Bannds to communicate in sexually exploitative or predatory ways
- use Bannds to distribute age-inappropriate material to minors
Bannds may remove accounts, preserve records, and report conduct where required.

- Scam Promotions, Deceptive Listings, and Misleading Transactions
Users may not create or distribute:
- fake contests
- deceptive giveaways
- false crowdfunding requests
- non-existent merch offers
- misleading booking solicitations
- fake sponsorship opportunities
- misleading ticket offers
- fraudulent vendor promotions
All marketplace listings, promotional campaigns, and seller offers must be truthful, fulfillable, and accurately described.

- Off-Platform Payment Circumvention
Where Bannds provides approved payment, tipping, seller checkout, ticketing, or monetization systems, users may not use Bannds to repeatedly solicit payment outside approved channels in order to evade fees, fraud review, buyer protections, payout controls, or Platform oversight.
Bannds may remove listings, suppress communications, or terminate accounts engaged in payment circumvention schemes.

- Spam, Bots, Artificial Activity, and Visibility Manipulation
Users may not:
- use bots or scripts
- mass-message users
- artificially inflate follows or engagement
- spam comments or promotions
- use automated ad-engagement systems
- manipulate recommendation systems
- engage in repetitive unsolicited solicitations
- artificially inflate story, reel, or creator video performance
Bannds may throttle visibility, mute creator reach, suspend messaging, demonetize, or terminate such accounts.

- Failure to Cooperate With Reviews, Documentation Requests, or Investigations
Users may not refuse, evade, obstruct, or repeatedly fail to cooperate with Bannds requests for:
- identity verification
- payout verification
- shipment proof
- rights documentation
- ownership proof
- contracts or licenses
- copyright explanations
- fraud explanations
- moderation explanations
- event verification
Failure to cooperate with Bannds compliance reviews, rights reviews, payout reviews, fraud reviews, or safety investigations may itself constitute a policy violation subject to enforcement.

Bannds may investigate suspected violations through:
- user reports
- payment processor alerts
- rights-holder complaints
- moderation review
- automated copyright detection
- transaction audits
- fraud monitoring

Bannds may request documentation, explanations, shipment proof, identity verification, licenses, contracts, or other supporting materials.

Bannds may take one or more of the following actions in response to violations:

- story/reel restriction
- listing removal
- messaging restrictions
- demonetization

- earnings reversal
- temporary suspension
- permanent account termination
- referral to payment processors
- referral to legal authorities
Bannds retains sole discretion regarding the severity, sequence, and permanence of enforcement.

- Reporting Violations
Users may report violations, abuse, scams, copyright issues, harassment, unsafe conduct, or fraudulent activity through Bannds’ designated reporting channels.
Bannds may prioritize reports according to legal, payment, copyright, or safety severity.
False, abusive, or malicious reporting may itself result in enforcement action.

Bannds may update these Community Standards periodically as Platform risks, payment systems, audiovisual features, marketplace operations, legal requirements, and moderation practices evolve.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Community Standards.
